I love Air Plants (Tillandsia). They are so easy to take care of. Just provide bright, indirect light or full sun. They should be misted about every other day. So how did I create my Tillandsia Tree. I went in my backyard and picked up a dead branch that had fallen off a Maple tree. Next I trimmed it to fit into a 3″ clay pot. I glued the bottom of the branch using Gorilla Glue to the inside of the pot. Now the fun part. I choose 3 of my favorite Air Plants and glued them to the branch in 3 different location to look natural. Finally, I added some live Spanish Moss (also a Tillandsia) to cover my work and add a flowing look to the tree. I have the tree now standing in an east window. It is doing great and reminds me of the tropics.
